Kiwanis Family Chair Haley Lynn Thomsen Haleylynn1010@gmail.com
The Kiwanis new year is finally upon us! With each new year we set new goals for ourselves, for our clubs, and for our communities. This year the Kiwanis family has set the goal of communication; more specifically communication between clubs. The Michigan District of Kiwanis is excited to implement the new tool of K-Family Chair. The Kiwanis Family K-Chair is a position dedicated to connecting Kiwanis, Circle K and Key clubs all over the state of Michigan with events and ideas. As this is a rather new position the chairs will be beta testing online resources and calendars, with hopes of a release date of this winter. Once we are up and running we would like clubs to submit events they would like other clubs to attend or events where you may need extra hands. Once submitted to the chair, events will be listed on an online forum where other clubs in our district can browse and will be able to reach out and lend a hand. For more information, questions or to add an event to the calendar please contact your club’s chair.
